MAC FORMAT MAGAZINE

SUMMARY

Mac Format is a British magazine specialized in technology, published monthly by Future plc since June 1993. Written in English, it offers Mac users the latest in technology, analysis, and recommendations. In 2014, we developed a simplified and free news reader for Mac. At that time, Twitter was extremely popular, which inspired us to create a similar user experience for reading syndicated news.

Two months after the launch, Daily™ was ranking among the top positions in the Mac App Store, with 17,000 active users and great success. The app was mentioned in hundreds of specialized blogs. In 2015, we launched a paid version, and that same year, the London-based magazine Mac Format contacted us to inform us that they would be writing an article about Daily™.

Over time, Apple integrated its own news reader into macOS. For this reason, among others, we decided to cease maintenance of Daily™.
