CREATIVE CODING

SUMMARY

Leap Motion redefines the way we interact with a computer by offering superior precision to a mouse, being more reliable than a keyboard, and much more sensitive than a touchscreen. For the first time, you can control a computer in three dimensions using only your hands and fingers. Creative coding is an approach to programming aimed at creating expressive experiences rather than functional ones. It is widely used in live visual art (VJing), installations, projections, and sound. Driven by the artistic potential of this technology, we decided to experiment with Leap Motion to explore new forms of creative interaction.

We created a 3D particle system in OpenGL using libCinder and C++. The project allows for real-time manipulation of visualizations through hand gestures, enhancing immersive interaction.
