SUMMARY
Shoutcast is a streaming server that allows radio stations to transmit online audio effectively. Shoutcast is development by nullsoft.
Shoutcast uses MP3 or AAC encoding of audio content and http (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol). It is powerful and stable, which means that you can launch all your radio traffic on the Internet without having accidents or other problems. The output format is read by multiple client programs, including Nullsoft Winamp, Apple iTunes and Windows Media Player (only versions since 9) and can be integrated into the web through Flash.
